Nader Dehdashti is an experienced television producer and talent manager working with top British executives and talent within the entertainment industry.
As a founder, Nader is extremely passionate about mental health and wellbeing and is on a mission to change the laws surrounding mental health education in the UK.
JOLLY LAYARD HORSFALL
Chief Financial Officer
Jolly graduated from the University of Bristol with a first in Mathematics and Economics and is currently working as a Corporate & International Tax Associate whilst studying to be a Chartered Accountant (ACA). Jolly is also a One Young World Ambassador and sits as Co-Chair of the 2030 Finance & Business Task Force helping to advocate and achieve the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the finance sector.
Throughout school, he has taken a keen interest in the performing arts and sports meaning he certainly doesn't put himself down as just a numbers guy! If you had to describe him in a sentence, it would surely be "Jolly by name, Jolly by nature"!
HEAD OF PR
Char graduated from Bristol with a History degree in 2018. After dabbling in events and travelling the world for a little while, she is now working as a New Business & Marketing Exec in an Advertising agency.
Outside of the office, Char can be found doing karaoke, getting stuck into a good book, trying a new restaurant with friends, and almost definitely with a cup of tea in hand.
Head of Trustee Board
Judith has spent much of her career at senior manager/director level in both the private and public sectors within large and small companies. Senior roles in strategy, business planning and strategic marketing, combined with an MBA and MSC provide academic and theoretical models to combine with 25 years of practical management experience. She also practices as a psychotherapist with experience in the NHS and private practice. Additionally she is a coach.
Judith believes that every individual has some choice in how to live. Via Happy Space children may be encouraged to think about their mental well-being and to develop the strategies necessary to navigate the ups and downs of life.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Meg is currently studying Primary Education at Stranmillis University College in Belfast. She is passionate about the mental wellbeing of her pupils and can often be found practising yoga and mindfulness. Namaste!
When she’s not ‘teaching the minds of the future’, as she likes to call it, Meg loves nothing more than walks by the sea, spending time with her friends and having a boogie whenever she gets the chance!! She is thrilled to be a part of the Happy Space family!
Hannah is currently studying a Masters in Translation at the University of Bristol having recently graduated with a BA in Spanish and Portuguese studies. During her undergraduate degree she spent time living in Spain and Portugal and worked in Digital Marketing for a travel company based in Porto. Back at home she worked as a Widening Participation Ambassador for the university and found her own happy place each week training and competing in Gymnastics.
When she can find time away from translation, you will find Hannah playing the piano, singing, drawing or watching football. She is so excited to be a part of the Happy Space family!
Tegan currently works as an Associate at Latham & Watkins, LLP. She attended King’s College London, gaining a First Class Honors degree in Law, and winning both the Dickson Poon School of Law and Kaplan Prizes for outstanding academic achievement.
Tegan has always found having a musical outlet to be essential (piano, violin, singing) and is delighted to have cofounded an organisation that prioritises encouraging students to utilise creative methods to improve mental wellbeing. Since Happy Space’s inception, Tegan has focused on strategy, partnerships and the procuring and presentation of engaging content for students.
Head of Design
In 2007 Natalie qualified from Southampton University with a Batchelor of Arts Degree in Illustration, and since then have been working as a freelance Illustrator and Designer in Sussex, England.
Nat is best known for her Botanical Bottle Prints, her most popular ones being the Hendricks gin bottle, Bombay Sapphire gin bottle and the Williams Chase gin bottle. Nat has also created illustrations for food packaging, pub menus and marketing campaigns for some well-known drinks brands.
Izzy recently graduated from the University of Oxford with a Bachelors degree in Geography. Throughout her degree she served as the welfare officer for her college and represented her college as women’s captain for rowing. She found her passion in working with her fellow students to improve their time at university by addressing their mental health and finding the balance they needed to thrive in both their course and personal life.
Before her degree Izzy undertook a diploma in Art and and Design at the University of Falmouth. In her spare time she loves to practice her art, trying out new styles and mediums. She also enjoys to travel, cook, and spend time with her friends.
A graduate of Management studies at the University of Sussex; Will has spent the past year travelling the world creating some weird and wonderful memories, whilst also managing to squeeze in the World’s shortest Ski season (Due to Covid-19!).
Will’s core passions include; all things pub quiz - although his tight schedule only allows for roughly 4 a week, Stoke City Football Club (don’t ask) and doing his best to use his limited set of skills to make life a little more fun for those around him.
Josh graduated from the University of Liverpool with a first in Economics with a Year in Industry, which he spent in the Corporate Finance team at Grant Thornton. He is an exam qualified Chartered Accountant and currently works in Grant Thornton’s Technology audit team as a Senior Associate.
During Josh’s year in industry he took part in a mentoring scheme that paired him with students in a local secondary school. He provided support and guidance on topics of the student’s choosing. The experience was eye-opening and gave him an insight into the challenges that today’s student face
